The Perimeter Scanning – Line/Zone Crossing solution offers a smart way to combine different sources, consolidate information, and reduce false alerts.
The optional Perimeter Scanning – Line/Zone Crossing allows users to view maps and events in real-time with live preview and playback. It provides asset and alarm status dashboards, visual tracking, alarm pop-ups, and multiple link actions to easily review combined alarms.
At the same time, ensuring that the system is working properly and providing the protection it is intended to provide is ensured through the maintenance solution and fault reporting for all of the above systems.
Perimeter Scanning – Line/Zone Crossing provides the following types of detection scenarios:
⇒Intrusion: An alarm is triggered when a person or vehicle enters a zone defined on the ground (from any direction and any trajectory)
⇒Wandering: An alarm is triggered if a person or vehicle remains in a ground zone for more than a pre-defined number of seconds
⇒Crossing of zones:An alarm is triggered when a person or vehicle crosses two or more ground zones in a predefined sequence. Conditional: An alarm is triggered when a person or vehicle enters a ground-based zone without first passing through another ground-based zone or zones
⇒Object recognition:an detects moving people or vehicles. For detection: A person or vehicle must be fully visible in the detection area for a minimum of three seconds. A vehicle can be up to 12 meters in length. (No maximum length in AI mode). People or vehicles must be moving from the camera’s viewpoint. This means that the detection rate for a person walking towards the camera or moving away from the camera in a straight line will be lower than for a person walking at a right angle to the camera’s field of view.
